First day

My first day at work went great. I couldn't have asked for a more fun job. I get to play with a bunch of 2 year old's for most of the day and then send them home. Grace also seemed to love it. She is the room right next to me, but I got to see her a few times (which was sort of a problem, but I think it will be good for her). She loved playing with the other kids and loved eating lunch with them, but she didn't nap that great. Now you have to know that I have pro napper... but only when we are home in her own crib. Everywhere else she fights it. So that might take a few weeks of adjustment to get her to nap well. Here is a picture of Grace on her first day of Mother's Day Out. Not the best pic, but the best we could do this morning.

Your daughter is an absolute doll! I found your blog through Jen Reiter's and love checking in to see what y'all are up to. I have twin girls who are 13.5 months old & we go to church with the Reiter family.

Does Grace like the Mother's day out? We have finally come to a decision - after much debate and hesitation - to enroll Jaycie in one this fall at our church. But you're working at Grace's? You can keep an eye on her and make sure she's ok!!lol I really hope Jaycie likes it - I worry about that nap thing mostly because she too is a crib sleeper!

Glad your first day went well! Sorry to hear that you're not feeling good though. But hopefully, it'll pass soon. I remember when I got pregnant the second time around, I decided to wear my maternity clothes by the time I was 10 weeks - I didn't want to feel uncomfortable. :-P

Love Gracie's picture and outfit, BTW!!!!!

I'm sure that Grace's teachers just loved having her in their room!!

Glad it went well!

I'm pretty sure Eleanor would be the exact same way on the napping.

How fun!! I have always imagined that I might do something like that, work at a preshool or mother's day out program and let me kiddos attend there.
