Tomorrow morning I am driving 5 hours from my home to Arkansas to visit my good friend, Hailey (and her family) and I'm doing it by myself with 2 small children.
Yeah, am I crazy to do this with a 2 year old and a newborn?
Since my hubbie is out of town I thought what the heck. We wont be in any hurry (except maybe to get out of the car before I commit myself) and I haven't gotten to see Hailey's new house.
So wish me a little luck that I don't go crazy and that the girls either sleep, play quietly or relax to some Barney on DVD.

Good luck! I am flying to Houston over Mother's Day weekend with a 3 year old and one year old by myself. I might be crazy to do this but it was either that or drive. I chose to fly.
I have drove 6 hours by myself with the boys before. I was so worried about it but they did great. I bet your girls do great as well!

Yep...you're nuts. Should have called me first. I once drove from Dallas to Memphis with Leigh, Blake, Mike and Charlie to visit my in-laws ALONE! All kids ere under the age of 8. It was quite an adveture. I'd do it again...crazy as it sounds. Adventures teach your kids that spirit of independence.

I wish you ALL the luck you need!! I haven't even braved the 2 1/2 hour drive to Abilene to visit anyone in our family yet!! Don't know if I will either :)
