EARLY this morning (as in the middle of the night) I woke up to a crying baby on the monitor. So I hopped out of bed and ran upstairs to my sweet little 6 month old STANDING in her crib, holding onto the railing. So I battled with her for the next hour and a half to go back to sleep, but every time I laid her down she was up and crawling towards to the rail and pulling up. Oh joy. I hate this stage. She is just so focused on going that she can't give her little body a rest like it needs. Anyway, just wanted to document the event. When she wakes up I'll see if I can snap a picture.

Update: Got a GREAT video, but for some reason my computer isn't happy so I can't get it on here. I will soon. Oh and we had another fabulous night of standing. How long does this last?

Oh gosh! Yes.... wasn't that long ago for Grayson. It was so difficult getting him to sleep and staying asleep. Hope this stage moves quickly for you!
Oh heavens no! Averee started pulling up a little on the side, but STANDING oh gosh!! Ur hands are full!! She'll be running next week!
Want to walk this week? In the AM...I can get up :) Miss A slept 8hrs last night...yay for night #2 of sleep!!!
Oh JOY! I remember those moments. Its a battle of the wills I tell ya!
Okay, this makes me not want to have kiddos haha. I like my sleep!
yipee!
Oh no! I remember this stage but it wasn't at 6 months, poor Lisa. Just remember this too shall pass. That has gotten me through alot of "stages". XO
Oh my gosh, I am scared! Yesterday, I walked away to put the trash out for like 10 seconds and B had "crawled" really scooted to the automon (sp?) and was trying to pull up. Dear God, help us all :D
I'm wishing for sleepfilled nights for you!!
Well just know that when you are up in the middle of the night, I am more than likely up too, HA! These babies love the nightlife sometimes :)
I only remember that lasting a week or so, but I also remembering it happening at like 9 or 10 months!!! NOT 6!!! Tell that Emma to slow down becoming a big girl!!
What a big girl! Poor Mommy, hopefully she will master this new skill quickly and let you and her little self get some much needed rest! Love you girl!
Hang in there!
Avery was standing in her crib at daycare yesterday and fell and hit her face on one of the rails and now she has a bruise. and... remember the bleeding mouth story... OUCH!
Welcome to the world of injuries!
See Emma stand. See Emma walk. See Emma run. See Emma and Grace play chase, play hide-and-seek in the stores, zig-zag thru the playgrounds, and try to hug Auggie, the dog.
Go Emma!
Love you, Aunt Barb
